Three Island Seabird Seafari

 Duration 1hr 15 mins (approx)

Our safety certified high speed Ribs provide an exhilarating trip to carry you quickly between islands to allow you ample time at the sites to enjoy the magnificent wildlife sightings you will experience at The Lamb, Craigleith and of course the famous Bass Rock, confirmed as hosting the largest colony of Northern Gannets in the world!

You may also see Puffins, Guillemots, Seals and occasionally Dolphins which love to race along beside the boat.

Our knowledgable guides will provide all the interesting information about the wildlife and the local history. After leaving the Bass Rock the Rib returns along the coast past shipwreck sites at  the South Carr, Tantallon Castle, the secret wartime radar base at Gin head then past the beautiful beach at Canty Bay en route back to North Berwick Harbour

These trips will be travelling between the seabird colonies at around 20 - 30 mph, therefore warm clothing is a must, and a good waterproof jacket and trousers are advised.  Passengers are seated on 'pod type seats' and must be able to balance on these seats and hold onto the handle in front of you.  For these reasons the trips are not suitable for children under 8 years old, or anyone with pre-existing back injuries or conditions, pregnant ladies are also advised not to go on these trips. Our Seabird Catamaran cruise can cater for all these groups of people.

Boarding the high speed Rib vessels involves decending a set of steep steps in the historic harbour so passengers must be comfortable doing that before booking.
